FAQs
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I start by offering a free consultation for any new customer. This is a great chance to talk about your unique personality and style and what you would like to get out of your photo session. The consultation helps me get to know you better, and it also helps you decide if I'm the right fit for you. After a customer books, we schedule the photo session either at a location that you choose, or I can help you decide on a location that will get you the photos you want. I'm also more than happy to answer any questions along the way, such as what to wear, what types of locations work best, what time of day is best for the photos you want, etc. On the day of the photo session, I will start by making sure everyone is comfortable and then focus on making the photo shoot fun for everyone so that I can capture the most genuine moments and expressions possible. I'm not just there to take photos; I'm there to help and answer any questions along the way to get you the photos you want.
- What types of customers have you worked with?
I have worked with many different types of customers. I enjoy wedding photography, portrait photography, and pet photography, so I'm comfortable working with all customers. A lot of people worry about photo sessions not going well or family members or pets not being cooperative, but that's completely okay! My job is to make sure everyone is comfortable and enjoys the photo session, and that's my goal. I understand that some people love having their photo taken and others don't enjoy it at all, so I focus on keeping the session relaxed and enjoyable so that it's fun for everyone.
- What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?
My advice would be to find a photographer that you feel comfortable working with. Find a photographer that will take the time to answer any questions you have both before the photo session and on the day of the session so that you show up feeling confident and comfortable. If you feel completely prepared and at ease on the day of the photo shoot, you can just relax and enjoy, which not only makes for a fun session but also results in those genuine smiles and expressions that make for pictures you love.
