FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
We have to meet with the potential customer to evaluate the customers wants and needs. We absolutely have to see the project before we can give a price. Then, we determine how long the project will take and how large of a team we will need. We generally role with a five man team at $195 per hour. This price is all incisive. Meaning it covers everything from labor to materials and tools. As well as clean up, haul off, and dump fees. So, the customer doesn't have to worry about any of the numerous details, it's all taken care of for them.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
We need to meet the customer and see the project. We can do an estimate with us at the sight and the customer on the phone, if need be. So we provide a detailed written estimate, provide documents from our insurance company upon request and then set a date and time when everything is agreed upon. We put everything in writing. This is just to be sure we are clear about every single detail of what the customer expects. Then we take care of everything! When everything is exactly the way the customer wants it that is when the customer pays us. We believe the customer must be fully satisfied before there is any expectation of payment. The payment is due upon completion of the job. The customer can pay with cash, check or credit card. We also do payment arrangements when discussed and set up before the job is started. In the cases of a payment plan, there is a contract drawn up and signed by all parties involved, before the work is started.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
David does all of our climbing and cutting and has over fifteen years of on the job training and experience. I am in charge of the ground work and have seven years of on the job training and experience. There really is no other way to learn tree work, then to just get in there and do it. This isn't something you are going to learn setting in a classroom or watching from the distance.
