Introduction: Hey! I am Kari and thanks so much for your interest in my company!! So you're probably wondering what makes me different from other photographers? Well.... I get to know my clients personally. I would like to think it's not a business but working with my clients to produce beautiful products and to create friendships. I have photographed so much of my client's lives and very important moments. I have clients that I started with their engagement and now photographing their beautiful families. In addition, I am a super laid back, fun and easy person to get along with. To piggyback off my previous paragraph, I have been featured 7 times and published 28x. I offer four different packages that DO include digital images. If clients want something other than my offered packages, we can create a custom package tailored to your needs. A special fact about me: I have been working in the field of Applied Behavior Analysis for 8 years working with individuals with special needs and after completing two degrees, I hung that hat up to go full time. Kari did a beautiful job on my daughter's senior photos. She is an assertive and professional communicator. I wanted a certain look and Kari was able to show me samples of her work through the gallery on her website. Once we booked, Kari offered suggestions for the shoot location and the ideal time for the best lighting. Kari gave great direction during the shoot and we all felt very comfortable with her. She showed us how the shots were turning out throughout the session. Kari is a lighting snob; in the best way! We chased the light and once we found it, OMG...the images she captured were breathtaking. We were working on a very tight schedule for image turnaround and Kari accomodated us with 6 edited digital images available 4 days after the shoot! I recommend Kari for senior photos(she has a soft spot for them) and any other event or portrait photography. We will be back for family photos and I know who my younger kids will be having their senior photos with.

I contacted Kari because I liked her portfolio. She responded right away and answered all of my questions. Unfortunately during the session my 3 year old daughter who is very shy did not want to cooperate! We did not get any one good family photo that day because my daughter closed her eyes the whole time. Kari saw my disappointed look and kindly offered another session at no charge! All the pictures during the 2nd session came out beautiful and I really appreciate Kari's dedication to customer satisfaction.

We had a wonderful experience working with KE Photography! Kari managed to fit us in for a short notice maternity photo shoot and we couldn't be happier with the results! She had a great location in mind to capture our vision. She had endless ideas for poses and captures everything from traditional shots to more creative/artistic and fun shots. My pricing is based off the equipment I use, location, time photographing, product the client wants, and type of service.
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I love to get to know new people. I start out with chatting with a new client beforehand and get to know them and what they are looking to get. I have multiple event and portrait packages to cater to all different client needs.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I took a sociological photography class in my undergraduate studies. I learned how to photograph manually and would have assignments based off what I learned and different aspects of photography.
