Janet, I’m sorry that you felt compelled to write us such a dismal review, particularly as we never had a defined appointment for a free estimate, hadn’t committed to providing the repair, and hadn’t even established whether a repair vs replacement could be made, nor had quoted a price. When we spoke on the phone, I explained that we are extremely busy right now, with multiple large scale projects, including a 5 bathroom complete remodel, and that I would ATTEMPT to run by and take a look, time permitting... I also had requested that you send, via text or Thumbtack, a photo of the bottom of the sink that would indicate the basin material to establish whether the gouges could even be repaired of which I never received... My time is valuable, and a “free estimate” is not free to us... Prospective clients who readily provide us with pictures, etc. go to the top of the list as it saves us money on wasted trips, and helps us keep our prices reasonable, which benefits everyone. As the old saying goes: “No skin, no win”. It is the customer’s responsibility to also provide what’s been asked of them... That being said, I find it incredible that you would mark us as “hired” to post this review versus simply reaching out to one of the other 5 service providers, most with great reviews, who each paid a fee to contact you... As a PRO, I am able to see how many bids were submitted, if contact was made, and if someone else was hired, or the project cancelled. I’m sorry that we are too busy currently to address a possible repair of your kitchen sink basin, but ultimately, the unconscionable act of leaving us a 1 Star review in light of the above speaks more about you as a customer, than us as a provider...
