Introduction: Achieve College and Career Advising combines over 40 years of teaching and advising experience. We offer different facets of advising and counseling - for students who will be applying to college and for adults who are ready to make an advancement or change or career!
For college admissions, we will assist you and/or your student throughout every facet of the admissions process: preparing for standardized tests, selecting the schools, writing the essays and personal statements, completing applications, prepping for interviews (if a student athlete, then sorting through the NCAA regulations) - any and all areas of admission. We have worked for many years with high school students and we assist and prepare these students for their next academic endeavor. Achieve College Advising will work diligently to ensure that your student achieves at the highest level!
For career counseling, we use our unique experience as teachers, resume writers, interview preparation specialists and job search advocates to help you prepare for a career move and feel confident when you apply. We assist clients as they explore their career options and guide them through the search, preparation and interview process.
We love to demystify the college admissions process for parents and students! We really enjoy working with students to help them explore their strengths, improve in areas where they are less confident, and investigate options for their futures in a safe and supportive environment. From classroom courses to individualized advising, Achieve is prepared to meet the diverse needs of students and athletes.
We also love to work with adults who may feel "stuck" where they are, but aren't sure what to do next. We assess each client's talents, strengths and hopes - and help them craft a master plan. We then work together with them on the details specific to each job choice (e.g., resume, interview, personal statement)
