- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
I try and make things as easy as possible with my packages. Here's the quick synopsis. There are three basic packages: Full session: 1 hour $175 Includes 50-100 edited images Mini session: 30 min $100 Includes 15-30 edited images Event session: 2-4 hrs $250 Includes 100 + edited images Full session includes: Family Engagement Maternity Newborn Lifestyle (This happens at your home!) Mini Session Includes: Holiday Portraits Professional Head shots Birthday Milestones (3 mo, 6 mo, 9 mo, yearly) Prom Portraits Senior Portraits Event / Party Session Includes: Birthday Parties Family Reunions Retirement Parties Bridal & Baby Showers Engagement Parties Graduation Parties All three packages include digitally edited images available to access from an online gallery. They also include the photo release form. Need customization? Just ask!
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Hi! Nice to meet you! I'm Jamie, the owner and photographer of Three Reid's Photography. I'm a mom to a spunky, hilarious and energetic 4 year old girl and have been married for almost 10 years. When I'm working with new customers, my first and foremost goal is making sure you feel comfortable! Let's be honest- sitting in front of a camera with someone you don't know behind it can be a bit intimidating. I get that. So my job is to make you feel completely comfortable and I do that with humor. I LOVE to laugh and making people laugh has always been a happy quality of mine. I like to keep our sessions light, humorous and fun! Photo day always seems to be stressful, right? There's outfits to prepare, hair & make-up to do, and why is it your little one is at their worst on that particular day?! No worries, I've seen it all! I LOVE working with kids and helping them enjoy the picture process is part of my job. Though I have a lot of poses and positions that I feel make a picture special, I'm ALWAYS open to new and exciting suggestions. So if there's something you saw on Pinterest or a pose you'd just love to recreate, ask! I'd be happy to accommodate. With littles, I try to keep our session quick. I know it can be hard to keep them engaged and entertained for long periods of time so I move quickly, making sure we get the perfect pictures so you can enjoy the rest of your day. My process for editing and releasing never take longer than 1 week (unless it's a large party event). So you will have your edited images available through the online gallery database in just a few short days! From the gallery, you can view, edit (b&w) and even share to FB or IG in no time. You'll also receive a copy of my photo release form; making it easy for you to print your pictures at public entities such as Target or Walgreens without any problems. I'm a mom! I totally get we're on limited on time and funds. So my packages are affordable and doable in a short amount of time. My goal is to make the process fun and the pictures fantastic! - What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I'm completely self taught! I became interested in photography at a young age and received my first film camera during my teenage years. When I became a mom four years ago, I started capturing my daughter regularly and realized how much I enjoyed it. It wasn't until a few years ago that I was motivated to start capturing moments for everyone else! I am constantly learning and that is what truly keeps me motivated. I love providing my clients with exceptional artwork that they'll cherish and pass down for generations and I strive to achieve that quality in every photo session.
