FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
A few things #1 what you are quoted is the entire price. I don't add on things or change invoices once we have established the fee, unless it's at your request. #2 I charge a reasonable rate, and I can do that by offering digital images rather than printing packages. compare prices and you will see I fall in the low average range #3 I offer 10% discount on repeat bookings. This applies to all my services big and small. So if you book an engagement session, the discount applies even to your wedding session. #4 I will travel anywhere for a fee. $50 for 30+ miles $75 for 50+ miles and $100 for 75+ miles.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I like to find out what they are looking for, and what their budget is. If there is any way I can make my services work within their budget I will. Dates are set, an invoice is sent, a deposit is made to retain your date, and we are in contact in between that time to nail down any details or ideas you may have. Then we have the session or event, I edit the images and they are delivered via a digital album usually in 1-2 weeks.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have a few camera courses in college, but I am mostly self trained. I take online courses to fine tune my editing, but mostly I have learned by doing over the years.
