- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Our pricing is based on many variables unique to the clients request. We will craft a formal proposal based on the scope of work provided as we are not an in-the-box type company.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Our approach: We believe in end-to-end e-Consultancy, viewing ourselves as the e-business partner of the client for the duration of the project. Hence the point of contact/s associated with the project should feel free to contact us for any matter in which we can assist. On our side, all web development & design efforts will be performed with the prior approval of the client. Phase 1: Concept Formulation a. Kick-off meeting b. Brainstorming workshop c. Concept Formulation d. On our side, all web development & design efforts will be performed with the prior approval of the client. Phase 1: Concept Formulation a. Kick-off meeting We would commence the concept formulation with a kick-off meeting with the client to discuss the allocation of project tasks and define the project timeline. In case of physical distances, the functionality that a meeting is expected to fulfill, would be performed through online communication e-mail, chat etc. b. Brainstorming workshop We would then carry out a brainstorming workshop with the client to define the solution objectives, identify area of focus and define the materials & inputs needed from the client. c. Concept Formulation AQABA will then translate the results of the brainstorming workshop into a concept strategy for the client, drawing from in-house methodologies and the expertise of its various talents. d. Propose to Client The concept strategy developed as above will then be proposed to the Client. Any changes or further inputs to the website/portal can be made at this stage. Once the sign-off document outlining the scope of work and graphic element is signed, we will then commence with the development process. Phase 2: Information Architecture Design a. Translate concept strategy into prototype Our professionals, along with our team of developers will then translate the clients concept strategy into a prototype for the client solution. b. Propose Prototype and incorporate amendments The prototype as developed above, will then be proposed to the client, and discussed. Any feedback regarding amendments on the prototype will be noted and incorporated at this stage. c. Finalize specifications for the project Kindly note that the specification document is the most important element the success of the project would lie upon a thorough functional specifications document; development would commence only after the specification document has been signed off. At this stage any modifications or client suggestions would be easy to integrate. d. Design & Develop the solution according to client specifications Subsequent to the finalization of the functional specifications, AQABA would initiate project development. Phase 3: Development We would then commence development work along the lines of the finalized specifications for the website. We would conduct intermediate demos with the Client to update them on the progress of the development work on intervals agreed by both parties at the start of the project. Phase 4: Content Assembly Now that you will know what your Website will look like, you will be required to facilitate the content of your Website. The items AQABA will require will have been presented from the first meeting. These items will be reviewed by the Project Manager and related within the Functional Description blueprint to create the application. After all of the necessary content has been received your project manager will present the Functional Description that contains the following: 1. The exact content to be used to create the Website. 2. Special features the site will contain. 3. Exact functionality of the Website. 4. Summary of project and reaming steps to completion. 5. Dates of delivery an implementation of the project. The document requires your signed approval and more then one revision may be required based upon the level of work you put into the project. Be advised that the document is the most important portion of the development process and will used to funnel development of the system. Change Requests After your beta model has been presented to you. Your Project Manager will document any changes or additions you may require. The items you request will be assigned and categorized using the following matrix. PM rating Customer Request Action Easy Wants Added to project (no charge). Easy Needs Added to project (no charge)*. Hard Wants Quote adjustment must be agreed to before adding to project.* Hard Needs Quote adjustment must be agreed to before adding to project.** *Time will be tracked; a threshold of 4 hours will be maintained. Above that, all PM ratings will be called Hard. At the end of this phase a document will be presented containing the following: 1. Ratings of requests 2. Price for items outside original Functional Description & Proposal. 3. Ability to select desired changes or additions. Your signed approval will be required to move into the final development step. Completion & Implementation During this phase you can expect the following to complete the process: 1. Implementation of changes from the previous phase. 2. Uploading of the application to your specified location. 3. Receipt of any Project Booklet and source file. 4. Any training that may be required. 5. Follow up from your Sales Representative. Project Management Utility Client can login to its own private account to track progress of project and interact with its assigned project managers in real-time. 1. Project milestones 2. Bug fix tracking 3. Management of documentation 4. Tracking of development lifecycle process from cradle to grave 5. Archive comments and correspondence with project managers 6. Tracking of changes or enhancements post development or in maintenance agreement 7. Proprietary Project Management Utility Aqaba manages all projects from our project management utility. We typically assign one points of contact by including all participating members email address. a time line with goals covering all stages of the project will be posted in the utility. The client will have the ability to publish material, upload documents, graphic images and other data files via the utility. All conversations from both parties are tracked and document as legacy and for communication purposes. All material published within the utility are considered official and cannot be manipulated once published for historical and quality purposes.
