- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
I would normally price by the hour based on a mutual agreement or I would work out a set contract amount for 'x' amount of work.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I would schedule and informational meeting to determine the client's needs. I would want to make sure these needs match up with the services I would be able to provide. The meeting could be an initial phone call. I want to emphasis I am interested in working with small networks, associations, and groups, or start-ups. I have the background and experience in developing associations/organizations. I would establish an work agreement that both parties believe is do-able. I would use my home for an office or I could work from a location that serves the client best.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I started two statewide educational non-profit networks/associations in Wisconsin. I was a board member and president. I also was the treasurer of one for over 20 years. As a on going board member for many years I took on the role of managing the bookkeeping and operations of the association; ensuring things ran smoothly from special events, publicity/marketing, finances, administration, board meetings, planning and evaluation.
