FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
This is mostly dependent on assignment and time spent. Each event is different but I always give an estimated price at our first meeting based on what you may need and time spent. Editing is time as well, sometimes most of the time spent as a photographer and will be included as well. I also have an assistant who is available on weekend shoots for an additional cost. This is sometimes great to get those candid photos when I may be doing more portrait work etc.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Phone consultation is typically first just to be certain we should take the next step and that I am exactly what you are looking for in a photographer. Second step would be to meet one on one at your choice of location and we can discuss the details of the shoot. This step can be skipped of course if it is a commercial type of shoot. Then we move forward on a date. Some people like to meet again before weddings etc and that is perfectly fine.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Photography has been my passion for many years. I have taken multiple courses on different techniques, lighting, etc but as with any art, experience and drive is what makes it perfect. I feel I have my own "look" and "eye" with my photography. This sets any photographer apart a bit from others. I also have an MBA, Masters in Human Resources, a Bachelor Degree in Psychology and an Associates in Arts.
