    Friendly instructors; poor website
I have not yet completed the course, but find the web site difficult to use and the vocabulary more formal, less pertinent to subjects of interest and not like the everyday speech I would prefer to learn.

    Interactive and Enjoyable Espanol Lessons
I am very excited to continue my lessons with Jorge. His online platform was an excellent support tool. He integrates Spanish speaking with reading materials. Although I consider myself to have a solid grasp of the basics of Spanish, I already picked up some new vocab during our trial lesson.

Gracias, Jessica! It's a pleasure to work with a dedicated, smart and such a nice person like you.

My goal has been to improve my spoken Spanish. Private classes with Jorge have helped me to feel more confident and to gain a more sophisticated knowledge of Spanish grammar and vocabulary.

Jorge is an excellent teacher in every respect. With the help of Jorge's expertise, I've been able to move beyond intermediate Spanish and develop a high level of proficiency in written and spoken language, even being able to present lectures in Spanish at university level. Jorge's classes are always varied, interesting and upbeat. His focus is upon improving your communication skills rather than just textbook grammar. He works to identify the specific difficulties that are holding you back. I've recommended Easy Español to several of my friends and they have all been very satisfied.

Jorge and his team are great. In addition to being knowledgeable about the latest teaching methods and technologies, they diagnose each student's strengths and weaknesses to see where your lessons should focus. They are also great at pushing you to use what you've learned in back-and-forth conversations. I would definitely recommend any of their classes, and the private lessons are a great value.

I started taking classes with Easy Español's terrific teachers when I literally knew nada about Spanish. Their patience, good humor, and engaging activites helped me learn and love the language. I happily recommend them to anyone, from pure beginner to advanced speaker who wants to brush up.

Without a doubt a wonderful experience. At 60 years of age I thought "way too old to learn a new language." Professor Jorge takes learning/studying to a level of enjoyment. The results were all positive. I've traveled to Spanish speaking countries many times after "graduating" and have been able to communicate with all local people along the way. Very rewarding and all my goals were met in a relatively short period of time.

Jorge is a dedicated professional with a wide range of interests and knowledge about language acquisition. He does a great job of integrating Latin American culture, customs, art, etc. with language learning. He also has a great sense of humor and creates a fun classroom atmosphere. I would highly recommend taking classes from him at Easy Espanol.

I studied at Easy Español off and on for several years. Jorge quickly learned my strengths and weaknesses and tailored our lessons to address the weaknesses. He was also very conscious of my interests. Because we discussed, read and I wrote about things that interested me I had a great desire to communicate and the need to communicate is a great motivator.

Q&A

What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I always ask my students to take a placement test and then we arrange an introductory lesson first. If the student likes my teaching approach, we create the best language program based on their language goals.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have a Master's degree in Applied Linguistics and Hispanic Literature. I've been teaching Spanish for the last 15 years.
Do you have a standard pricing system for your service? If so, please share the details here.
I have an introductory lesson at a discounted price. Then I ask my students to buy lessons in advance and then use the lessons depending on their language needs and objectives.
How did you get started doing this type of work?
Teaching has been my passion since I was in high school. My first teaching experience was teaching adults how to read and write. It was a volunteer program and I still remember the woman's face with tears in her eyes when she learned how to read her name: "This is me? All these years I dind't know who I was because I could read my name" were her words. This experience was touched me and changed my life.
What types of customers have you worked with?
I've worked with students of all ages and levels, specially with students with difficulty listening and speaking.
Describe a recent project you are fond of. How long did it take?
Developing my teaching method. It's called The Audio-Cognitive Method. It took me 5 years to fully completed it.
What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?
Always ask for a referral and never commit without having a trial lesson first. Also, you have to feel confortable with the instructor since it takes two to do the learning.
What questions should customers think through before talking to professionals about their project?
Ask the professional why are they in this profession and find out if they have the proper training to teach you.
