Working with Gaetano continues to be an incredible experience. He really takes the effort as a teacher to understand my pace, strengths and weaknesses in customizing a lesson plan which works for me. His focus on repetition of themes and integration of common spoken Italian and more theoretical concepts keeps every lesson interesting and fun. In the short three months of working together I have greatly improved my reading, writing and speaking of Italian. I have much to learn but excited to continue on this path with Gaetano as my teacher. I highly recommend Gaetano for anyone wanting to learn Italian, be it fluently or simply basic expressions and conversational skills. AP

Eliana is an excellent teacher with a strong knowledge of grammar and culture, and has been truly helpful in improving my ability to speak, read, and write in Italian. We started off with a textbook and graduated to custom-tailored conversation exercises, and I leave every lesson with a list of new words and phrases to study before the next time we meet. The past few months of learning with Eliana have been both challenging and entertaining, and I would highly recommend her lessons to anyone who is serious about learning Italian.

I love the Italian language and culture and realized my speaking abilities from my university studies were rustier than I thought during a recent trip to Italy this past summer. Upon my return to the States, I immediately sought private tutoring and I could not be more satisfied in finding Mariateresa. I've seen vast improvement in my comprehension and speaking since I started taking lessons with her. The first couple months were focused on fundamentals and book work but now each lesson begins with about 30 mins of conversation (in Italian of course) before diving into books. I cannot recommend Mariateresa enough regardless of your comprehension level because not only does she challenge me every week to improve my skill but the time spent with her is very enjoyable and something I look forward to every week.
