  • What is your typical process for working with a new customer?

    1.) Establish your budget: This will help you stay on track, with so many options and event services out there you will need to ensure you spend your money on the items you really want first in order to execute the vision you have for your event. 2.) Order your Comprehensive Design Consultation session with Adorned Occasions: Meeting is up to 3 hours, which can be split into 1 hour sessions at separate times. During your consultation we will discuss your ideas, theme, colors, reception sytling, wedding ceremony styling, linens, flowers, props, where you are in the design process, what you need and how we can bring your vision to life. We will advise you on how to get the design you desire while putting your budget into consideration. You will leave this session/s with a good understanding of what is required to achieve your vision. 3.) Contact vendors with services you need: After the design consultation you will have a list of recommended services you need to contract and secure with deposits. At this stage it will be important that you do not procrastinate since some popular event vendors book quickly. 4.) Secure your orders with Adorned Occasions: All quotes issued by Adorned Occasions are valid for 30 days before they expire. Securing your event rentals and flowers with Adorned Occasions requires a 30% service retainer up front, this retainer will be credited to your final balance. Final payment and any changes to your counts will be due 14 days before your event date. Unique custom materials/decor/service need to be sourced and secured 3 moths in advance of your event. 6.) After we receive your order form or list of items you want; we will set up a client site exclusively for you with a unique password for you to login with. A link will be e-mailed to you to notify you of your account, user ID and Password. Your client site is where we will house your quotes, orders, contract, track your payments and payment receipts. All electronic communication will be managed through your personal client site. All un-secured quotes or orders are valid for up to 30 days only from date of issue before they expire, you will need to secure your order within that 30 day time frame. 7.) Rental pick up: As we get closer to your event we will schedule a date for you to pick up your rentals from our designated office. Specialty items like centerpieces and other unique decor will be delivered for set up with one of our staff or design partners as per contract. 8.) What if you are out of state or further out from our listed service areas? Good news is WE SHIP and WE TRAVEL. We have done several destination events, as far as Zimbabwe and Australia. We have shipped our rental linens as far as Puerto Rico! Just follow the process above and notify us of your destination event. We will do our best to accommodate you and create an amazing event!

  • How did you get started doing this type of work?

    The process of planning weddings inspired me to start my own company. The challenges I experienced while trying to source event accessories that we liked at the price we wanted resulted in us sourcing my own supplies and creating whatever it is we needed. I honestly enjoyed that experience. My family and friends were so impressed and encouraged me to start a business.
