Nikki is a wonderful trainer. She is very thorough in her training. I like that she explains the pack mentality before she begins her training and gives a background of her relationships with her dogs she has had and currently has. She make me understand what it is like to be the " leader" of your dog and thathat discipline is not bad for my dog. She always uses a pleasant and calm demeanor when training even in correction and using that on my dog has worked wonders. She always explains the commands for them and the reasons why they are the commands. I havery had dogs before and very little knowledge of their behaviors and what to look for and I can now proudly walk my dog knowing that he loves me and I completely happy that I am the one that leads him. I am able to take him everywhere with me without any doubt on his behavior towards people or other animals and that he is happy. Thank you Nikki!!

Nicole with Fetching K9 Manners helped me bring a timid/neglected dog from a shelter to a confident, obedient companion. I also had the pleasure of watching her process of rescuing two German Shepherds with questionable backgrounds and shape them into caring, obedient companions, as well. We tested for our therapy dog certifications together and all passed easily. Nicole uses a common sense approach to training that is easy to follow.

What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
In home training $45-60 per hour (less if dog is from a rescue). Group classes are $125/150 for 6 to 8 weeks of a 1 hour per week class.
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Phone call to discuss issues and goals and arrange an initial consultation in your home. Also to enroll in group classes and determine what suits your goals.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Grew up with a family business in dog training and have had exposure enitre life. Educated at Auburn University in Animal Sciences. Also a Reginstered Nurse. Evaluator for Therapy Dog International and VP of local chapter; Canine Good Citizen and Puppy Star evaluator/trainer for AKC.
