FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
I use the same system any General Contractor would use, only I do not round things off to the highest 10 when doing the math, nor do I add 10% to 30% on top of the final labor and material combined figure. which is an industry standard practice, applied for the purpose of extra material for cuts mistakes etc.. If you have been doing the work as long as I have 3% to 5% is more then enough to cover any thing.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Do my best to assure them they have chosen the right person for the job, and give them the best possible price and work I can. Repeat Customers is a much better client base then searching for the next new customer. on new customer bids I may get a call back 1 or 2 for every 10 or 15 FREE! bids I drive out and give to customers. and its a 50/50 chance the 1 or 2 that did call will hire me. some times even less then that.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
27 years of on the job experiance, covering almost all trades. both residential, as well as commerial work. from simple repairs to complete remodels and ground up build outs. Starting from a dirt lot, to a home or building standing there when I'm finished.
