FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
My standard fee for a 50-minute session is $150. However, depending on financial needs, I slide down to $100. I also do 75-minute couples sessions.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I always offer a 30 minute free consultation by phone or in person. If someone is uncertain of the process or would like to meet me first prior to engaging in the therapeutic process, this usually gives individuals a chance to do so. If a client is ready to jump into therapy, I set up a first appointment with them and provide them with some paperwork to fill out and bring to the first appointment. During this appointment, I typically gather pertinent history and we discuss goals and course of treatment.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I received my Masters in Counseling Psychology and my Doctorate in Clinical Psychology. I also received a concentration in child and adolescent psychology. Since being licensed, I have pursued specialized training in marriage and couples therapy (Emotionally Focused Therapy for Couples and Relational Life Therapy).
