Molding or baseboards,
I've hesitated to write a review for Jim because I'm afraid he'll get too busy and won't have time for me! That being said I have already recommended him to two of my friends. He is punctual, reliable and very knowledgeable in all kinds of construction. His work is excellent. All in all he is a great find for anyone that needs projects done no matter how big or small. I intend to use him for all my projects. A good handyman is hard to find and Jim is the best!Dec 23, 2015Verified
I had an odd electrical issue that I wasn't able to resolve myself. Jim was able to and explained the process as he went through it. He also expertly patched up two pieces of dry wall that I had.Nov 19, 2015Verified
I have never had a friend or family member have a perfect experience with a contractor. Jim was everything that we could've asked for and more. Stuck to his quote, stuck to his timeline (and actually beat it by weeks) and went above and beyond as a consultant to my husband and I (first time remodelers). I will definitely be calling Jim again and could not recommend him more!!!!!Mar 2, 2016Verified
We had a patio rebuilt. Jim and his crew did a very professional job. They had to demo the old roof, cut up the wood into pieces that I could use in my fire pit, and helped remove some of the tables and plants that were in the patio. They used pressure treated wood that they painted the color we chose before doing the actual construction. Jim helped us with useful suggestions about how things should go. After the job was completed he and his crew cleaned everything and moved all the plants back where they belonged. The job was very professionally, done on time and within budget. I think the price was very reasonable.Feb 13, 2016VerifiedJWB Building and Remodeling's reply

We needed a dishwasher installed and Jim did a great installation - punctual with excellent service. Would not hesitate to call him again with any other necessary work.Dec 22, 2015Verified
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)? Most project pricing is generated specific to that project. Pricing is based on projected man-hours required and quantity/cost of materials needed. Certain services already have standard pricing (door installs, dishwasher installs, etc). These are exceptions to the general rule.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?Depending on the project, I generally spend an hour or so talking over what the customer wants, making suggestions as needed. We then put together a detailed Scope-of-Work and pricing to complete the project.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?10+ years experience (8 as a licensed contractor) handling paid jobs ranging from small handyman type projects to large extended rehabs and remodels. We have significant experience in all phases of residential construction.
