Introduction: Growing up in the northern part of Sweden, I learned to truly appreciate the beauty of nature and you will most likely hear me exclaim something like "look at that light shining through the tree, we have to go over there!" more than once during your session. Likewise, there is not a single one of the New England seasons that doesn't photograph magnificently! This is why I offer my popular portrait sessions outdoor on location year round. For those of you who rather stay indoors I welcome you to the studio instead! I specialize in photographing candid moments between loved ones and will make sure you feel comfortable and relaxed to get the perfect smile at the perfect moment. I've had the pleasure of having Caroline do three photoshoots for me. Each and everytime I was blown away with the outcome of the photos. She is very professional, she had great ideas for different posses,props, and locations. My first photoshoot was for my birth announcement. We shot in a studio, where I was able to change my outfit a few times, which was really nice to have the option. We ended that shoot outside by some water. I was amazed by her talent! I had to have her do my maturity shoot. We shot by the Charles river. We walked up and down the path and found some really cute spots to take some pictures. Again I was able to change a couple of times. She was very honest on what looked good for posses and outfits which I respected and loved. Again was so excited when I got my photos back I knew there was only one person I wanted to take my babies newborn pictures and that was Caroline. When it came to the day of the photoshoot my baby was far from being cooperative and Caroline was beyond patient. He didn't want anything to do with being laid down and having his picture taken, or being dressed up in any cute props. So we had to do the whole shoot me holding him. I was pretty bummed but she assured me we got some really good shots. I believed her because of the past photo shoots, but was anxious to see them. A few days later I got the pictures. I literally cried, I couldn't believe how good they had come out. I was overwhelmed with happiness. She captured the love between us. Which takes true talent to do. I hope to have her continue to share special moments and create such amazing memories for me to cherish.

Caroline is a sheer delight to work with. Everytime we meet for a session she is on time, super helpful and easy to relax around. Plus she can get all three of my kids to focus on the camera for our posed shots, and always finds a way to capture these special little moments of the kids just being themselves. I always get teary eyed when I look at my photos for the first time, and even after that. Our kids are only this little once, and even my fiance and I have changed so much between sessions. Its so fun to be able to look back through and see the real "us" shine through, and not just look like a staged magazine family. I can't picture anyone else taking our photos that's why I always come back.

This review is several months overdue. We used Caroline for family/holiday pictures. Not only is her work AMAZING but she captures love. That's the best way I can articulate it. I have 2 stubborn, completely non cooperative children and Caroline managed to take my all time favorite pictures of them and us. She's calm, talented and generally amazing. I would recommend her for any and all photography. I will definitely use for any photography we need in the future, she sold me for life.

When looking for a photographer to photograph your family, don't choose one solely based on their prices. Photography is art, and you want to end up with photos that you will treasure for many years to come. Take a look at the photographer's portfolio and decide if you like his or her style, because that's likely what your photos are going to look like as well.
