Laurel was a tutor for me for Spanish for over a year. She is a wonderful, wonderful tutor. She made it fun. I went from knowing a little Spanish to being able to have a conversation. She was able to help me through the process of learning a new language, and I never felt embarrassed or like I didn't want to try speaking. She was very encouraging.

Ms. Reiner prepares thoroughly for each enjoyable class. She quickly shepherds students through the basic grammar patterns on toward the higher level required for reading, writing, and talking about more complex subjects. She even organizes fun events outside regular classes to facilitate greater use of your target language.

Working with Laurel has helped me regain my interest and joy in learning Spanish both in and outside the classroom. Her teaching approach balances grammar basics and textbook exercises with Q & A conversations, current events, and cultural activities. She's definitely a five-star teacher!
