FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
On the photography side, currently none. I will look at the what the client's budget is and what the type of work that is wanted is, and will make an estimated cost from there. For videography, I typically charge a flat rate of $100, as well as an additional $25 dollars an hour if the shooting and editing time goes over 4 hours. I typically try to work for $25 an hour, and the $100 flat rate is simply a service fee that I charge for products that are take a short amount of time to complete, but do still require shooting and/or editing, as a means for me to still make earning from smaller projects.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I will first, respond to their quote, with the service I will be proposing, ask any questions I have. We will then, figure out a time to meet, where that meeting (to fulfill the service quote) will take place. Then we come to an agreement of service provided, finances, and any deadlines are exist, and then away we go!
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
A majority of my video and photography work comes from doing it as a hobby throughout high school and studying it on my own time. Currently, I am enrolled in Oregon State University and Double Majoring in Digital Communication Arts and Computer Science, and am gaining new more knowledge through the art and production classes I am taking there.
