FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
My prices vary per job need. To just do research and planning, I charge 50.00 an hour. To be involved in actual planning prior to the event, to handle vendors and coordinate timelines, and do a run through of rehearsal, I charge $150 per day, plus lodging and 50% travel expenses. Full coordination on the day of the event is $750, plus lodging and 50% of travel expenses. But this will also ensure that all checks will be handed to me that morning and I will oversee everything. The day of the event will be stress free for the host. My policy is that all deposits for any facility rentals and vendors must be paid by the host directly. If I am selected with your quote, I ask that 50% be paid immediately. The leg work I do to lock down facilities and vendors isn't always and this takes away from my family. This is my business and please treat it as such. No one likes to work for free. I do appreciate all my clients and a happy client leads to a happy new referral.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
After I receive an initial request, I typically send a response back with some detailed questions to get a better feel of the client's specific needs.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Other than planning my own 3 weddings, being a bridesmaid in over 12 weddings, and coming from a large family where having parties was an every weekend occurrence. Plus, I love making other people's romantic dreams a reality.
