Introduction: LCI operates out of a 40,000 sq foot state-of-the-art-culinary-facility. We also host private events for meetings, parties, corporate and office team buildings, and leisure classes. We can provide full catering services for your home, business, engagement or birthday party, reception, wedding, and more. We've partnered with a number of local businesses to help expand and complete our services for ALL of our patrons. Please ask about our Catering menu including price per person. LCI is known as the culinary epicenter of Baton Rouge. We have multiple Kitchens, Bakeshops, Demo Labs, Media Center, Amphitheatre, Herb Garden and more. LCI is ACF accredited and regarded as one of the top culinary schools in the country. Our goal is to meet our clients expectations with great service, consistency, and professionalism. Louisiana Culinary Institute is a gem for the city of Baton Rouge; training chefs to excel in the culinary field. The new catering department is an extension of the training for the star chefs in the making. I have sampled almost all of their offerings and everything is delicious. I have ordered from the catering department twice in the past month; the food was outstanding, complimented by all of my guests. The service was exemplary and the turnaround was exceptional as I had placed the orders right before I actually needed them. I should also mention that price-wise, it is a good value. I will definitely use the LCI catering department again in the future. Great job!

We went to an open house at the Louisiana culinary Institute and it was outstanding! The food was delicious, the presentation was beautiful and professional, and the workers were all so sweet! I will definitely keep them in mind for my next event!

Food is high quality. Wide selection to choose from. Pricing is reasonable. Would recommend for both large and small parties. Friendly staff. Love the cream of mushroom soup and bananas foster.

We attended an Open House at the Institute ealiler this year.The attention to detail and pride was noticed. The large variety in selections gave a great indication of the type of services available. It was a wonderful evening.

Yes, we have all different types of pricing. We will share this info when we meet with our clients.
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
We like to sit down and talk about their needs and expectations. We take great pride in communicating with our clients. We will review their budget together and go over menu options.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
The school and all of our Chef Instructors are ACF certified and have over 250 years of combined experience. All of our Chef Instructors have received their BA and some have acquired a Masters degree. Since we are creating the standard, tt is imperative that all of our staff invests in continual education.
