I used Mama Roux's catering service for a baby shower I threw for a friend and I was extremely pleased with the service I received during the entire process. Kahmil (the owner) was very professional, she was able to work with our budget, and the food was delicious! I will continue to go to Mama Roux for my future needs and I've already referred her to several friends and family members.

I used Mama Roux Catering for my families thanksgiving dinner and it was everything and more. It was literally the best gumbo I've ever tasted in my entire life! We also ordered Mac and cheese, greens, turkey, and a Krispy Kreme bread pudding. Everything was delicious! They were great to work with and I'm getting some more of that gumbo for my next Saints party.

Mama Roux catering is amazing! I absolutely love their seafood gumbo and shrimp stew. I also love their crawfish pasta. In short, I haven't tasted anything from them that I didn't love. What I think is remarkable about their food is the consistency. I love the fact that I have never tasted a "bad batch" of food from them. The owner is an absolute gem! She is easy to work with and works within your budget while giving you the most bang for your buck. She is very professional yet she makes you feel as though you are speaking with a long-time friend. I have used their services several times and I would highly recommend that one hire them.

We do not have a standard pricing system. We want to provide our clients with all of their needs while working within their budget.
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
We have a questionnaire for new clients that inquires about the services needed (private dinner, event, etc); headcount; budget; type of cuisine, etc. Once we receive the questionnaire, we review it in detail with our client.
What types of customers have you worked with?
We have worked with businesses supplying lunch for meetings. We have gone in-home and worked as a personal chef; and we have catered for parties, holiday events, and weddings.
