When I retired I was overweight and woefully out of shape. I wanted to do something about that, so I joined a gym and had the very good fortune to end up with Jack as my personal trainer. Two years later I am 45 pounds lighter and in the best shape of my adult life. A month ago I kept up with my thirty something son-in-law (a former Division One athlete) on several all day hikes in Yosemite, including a trek to the top of 13,000+ Mt. Dana. Jack has tremendous expertise in body mechanics and nutrition, but most importantly he has the personality to apply that knowledge successfully. He is personable, enthusiastic and unfailingly positive. He has an uncanny ability to push you without being pushy and to motivate you without being overbearing. Thanks to Jack I am eating better, feeling better and looking forward to a much more active retirement than I could have imagined two years ago.
