Sorry this pro can’t do your job, but we know other pros who can.
Introduction: I teach from a coaching perspective: I believe that while learning an instrument is hard work at first, my methodology to teaching focuses on helping the student learn patterns. I help my students find the commonalities between the fundamental parts of their instrument. While a new musician looks at their "Guitar For Dummies" book and only interprets what their current music knowledge allows for, I break down the connecting lines that you find all throughout your instrument. An ordinary teacher educates you for a set time period, and then leaves the practice up to you. I actually believe in - at first - helping the student practice. If they don't understand the concept by the time that the lesson is over, then their week of practice will be torture. I love seeing students look back after 6 months of lessons! I love watching a new musician go through the journey of becoming proficient. A major value of mine is goal setting: I work with the student to remain accountable about their goals for learning the instrument.

Taylor is a great teacher! I've been studying with him for several months to brush up on my keyboard and technology skills. He's very knowledgable in the subjects he teaches and is an excellent communicator. His temperament is calm and encouraging. He follows a systematic method for each session that covers a review of the previous lesson and his objectives for the day's lesson. He's professional and everything he does he does with excellence. You won't be disappointed in choosing Taylor for your lessons.

Taylor is always friendly, always encouraging. He knows music so well and teaches richly from his experience. He is intuitive about the beauty of music. He also teaches how to play effectively with band members.
