- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
My education is based on playing in a live environment at the moment. Currently, this is mostly founded in playing on worship teams at Bethel Church.
- How did you get started doing this type of work?
I started playing piano from a young age. I picked up the guitar at the age of 10, and played strongly throughout the rest of grade school. In December of 2010, I started teaching a friend's daughter. In teaching these lessons, I realized that I had a drive and passion for showing others how to play the instrument they always wanted to. Mostly by word of mouth, my private lessons expanded to about 7 students a week. I realized that this was a great way to do what I love while providing another stream of income!
- What types of customers have you worked with?
Not only do I teach beginners, but I can provide more of a "Consultation Session". Many of my students have had the goal of wanting to play in a team context; a rock band, school jazz band, worship team, etc. I provide the training and coaching in a way that it prepares you for whatever your "test" looks like.
