- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Discuss client's goals, ensure I can provide correct services for the client, and conduct a basic assessment prior to their first fun training sessions.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I am a National Academy of Sports Medicine certified personal trainer. I also specialize in Senior Fitness, Women's Fitness, and Group Personal Training. As an athlete, I participated in three Air Force womens basketball teams in my younger years. I also powerlifted in national and international competitions. After retirement, I still compete in powerlifting through USA Powerlifting and 100% RAW Federation, and a member of the Air Force Powerlifting team. I hold several AZ records and a top RAW Federation 2015 powerlifter.
- How did you get started doing this type of work?
I found my passion for fitness in the military. I was a physical fitness leader and manager. After my retirement, I wanted to continue in a field where I can still help people reach their fitness goals to enhance their quality of life.
