Sorry this pro can’t do your job, but we know other pros who can.
Introduction: Not only do I have an MA in English literature so I have a lot of practice writing, but I have teaching experience in composition at both the undergrad and graduate levels. I was also an officer in the Air Force for 10 years. As an officer one must be adept at writing and speaking. I worked as a speech writer for the commander of the Space and Missile Systems Center, a three-star general, for whom I wrote all internal and external correspondence, speeches, commercials, and articles. I love helping people to improve their writing and speaking. There are no other professional qualities that display one's ability and intelligence with the precision of good communication skills.

I've worked with Michelle several times in the past on published and unpublished work. She is an excellent communicator; her English skills are unparalleled. Her talent extends well into her life experience, since she has deep and wide experience writing speeches, high-level documents, and publications for government, private, and individuals. I would highly recommend that you contact Michelle for any of your editing needs.

Michelle helped me edit a few creative nonfiction pieces I was working for publication. Her thoughtful developmental editing helped me see flaws in he narrative arc, noticed details that were distracting to the story, and helped me see places that needed more complete explanation. Her copy editing caught many errors that my own dozen or so readings (and the proofreading of other people) missed. Because of her help, four of the eight essays she edited for me have been published in journals such as The Iowa Review and Epiphany Magazine. Her feedback is insightful and timely, and has made Michelle one of my go-to readers.

FAQs

  • What types of customers have you worked with?

I have been mostly asked to proofread and edit papers for many levels and areas of study for post-secondary education.

  • What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?

It is important to find someone who can work on a deadline and provide you with concise feedback. If you don't understand how to improve your work, then the editing didn't help.
