- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
$75/hour for residential customers. $125/hour for business clients. All services are billed at a minimum of one hour, although there is no fee if we're unable to correct the problem.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
We make sure the client is able to connect to the internet via their high-speed provider, gather general contact info in case the conversation gets interrupted, then determine what computer type and operating system they're using. We then ask the user to download and open a small file that allows us to access their computer remotely, and proceed to diagnose and troubleshoot the problem.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
20+ years experience using Windows and Apple operating systems. Currently studying and preparing to take a number of IT related certification exams.
