- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I take MOOCs (massive open online courses) off and on to stay up-to-date.
- How did you get started doing this type of work?
I needed something to do from home, my father is a software developer and was willing to train me to test his projects. It turned out I have a natural talent, and and innate enjoyment for the work, so I joined his company, White Feather Software, 4 years ago. I am now the Coordinator of Projects.
- Describe a recent project you are fond of. How long did it take?
I have spent the last three years testing a really exciting web-based workflow management application, CommitKeeper and a web-based goal creation and tracking system, GoalKeeper. It's been a lot of fun to watch it change and grow over the years, and to help the creators of it keep it as bug/defect free as possible.
