We are a picky group of individuals. We want to make sure that everything works well and flows all the way down to the last detail. With that being said, Tris has done an amazing job working with us for over the last 1 and a half years. She has built a lot of our graphic design projects. - What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?In general my rate is $50/hour. Logo/Branding begins at $500. Most logos and branding projects I can do for this price. It depends on how organized the client is from the start and how clear they are about what they want. For instance, if I am starting from scratch and they give me free license, there will be extensive research involved on my part.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?I will ask about their business and find out what they need to have created and what they are envisioning. Then depending on the project, I may ask them to show me an example of something that has the look and feel, or color scheme they are looking for. I will then give them an estimate and ask for a 50% down payment to get started. I will do a sketch or first pass based on the info they give me. They will let me know if I'm on the right track and I will do any revisions or additions that they may need.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?I have an A.S. in Graphic Design from Indiana University. Six years sign painting, layout, drawing, and sculpture education from master Sign Painter Dutch Mullet in North Webster, Indiana. Twenty years experience in the film and theatre industry with scenic art and graphic design. Seven years experience in prop design and building.
