FAQs
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I always start with meeting a potential new client at the gym location of mine closest to them. The first session is free and includes a half an hour sit down talk about their goals, strengths, weaknesses, past or current injuries or conditions, and their current nutrition habits as well as a half an hour workout so they can experience my style and personality to know if we are the right fit for each other, totaling an hour. I want you to get to know me because getting along well with your personal trainer is very important! If we are the right fit, schedule logistics for when we will meet in person are established and you can expect your workout and nutrition plan within a couple of days of us meeting (each plan is specific to the person) and I am now your 24 hour trainer! Any and all health and fitness questions any time of the day can be directed my way!
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have a bachelors degree in Biology from a four year university in Portland, OR, I'm CPR/AED certified and I have been a certified personal trainer for 2 years now. I have played sports my whole life so working out and healthy eating is nothing new to me! Outside of 1-on1 training I teach group fitness classes including bootcamps, aqua, senior fitness and strength. I love sharing my passion and knowledge with all who are motivated to make a change in their lives.
- How did you get started doing this type of work?
I have always had a passion for health, fitness, nutrition, and I love helping people become healthier and happier versions of themselves. Becoming a personal trainer fits my outgoing personality and I truly love what I do and care for my clients, deeply.
