Erica is an incredible woman & does excellent work! She’s trustworthy, very personable and overall a ton of fun! She’s A wonderful person to be around :) The only reason I’m giving a 3 star review is because her prices are incredibly high compared to other cleaning services in the area. I was charged $280 for one person to clean a 600 square-foot space for 2 hours. I did speak with Erica about the high price and that I didn’t feel it was fair/ethical to charge me $140/hour for 1 person to mop, dust & vacuum a ~600 sq fr. space. She was very nice when we spoke, but I know I won’t be getting a refund. I’m also just not a confrontation person & never planned to demand a refund. **I am not writing this review to trash Erica. I am writing this review to inform customers of what can happen if you hire someone who doesn’t charge by the hour and might not show up with the crew.** Erica clearly mentioned that there would be two people here to clean for a total of $280. , On the day of our appointment, one of her employees didn’t show up for work; meaning one person was cleaning for two hours @ $140/hour instead of two people cleaning at $104/ hour. I ended up paying $280 for one person to mop, vacuum, and dust a 600 sq ft room…. I feel super duped paying her $140 an hour to mop, dust and vacuum my floors… I feel a bit swindled… but it is what it is…. I told Erica how small the space was & sent pics prior to her visit. She agreed that it would be best for her to provide an estimate on site, day of cleaning. Erica mentioned that she would have charged the same amount ($280, &150/hour) for the job, regardless of the amount of time she worked. This is a huge bummer & Trust buster when the provider is not available for more than two hours, yet the consumers pain for potentially entire day at. To earn trust of your customers, I strongly recommend providing them with transparent communication on fee structures & SLAs. Again, I cannot say it enough: Erica is absolutely wonderful and I would hire her again if her prices fit within my budget. On the same day that I hired Erica, I hired another cleaning company bc Erica was only available for two hours. The rockstar company that I hired showed up with two people and worked for 7 hours for $280 Again, I am not trashing Erica‘s cleaning company... we are all trying to make and save money! But I feel like Erica’s is price gouging and that’s a shame.
