FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
I charge according to the course and location. I will charge more to tutor for college courses than I will for middle school math. If we meet at a central location where I can arrange for several appointments, then I can also save you money!
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
As a tutor, I view myself as a vital part of a student's educational team. My first priority with any new student is to make them feel comfortable working with me. I do that by including them in the decision making process about their tutoring goals and the plan we will use to achieve the goal. I want each student to know that I am genuinely interested in their success, and that I am there for them.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have a Master's degree in Mathematics, and I hold a valid Alabama teaching certificate in the area of secondary education (grades 6 - 12). In addition, I am a certified online trainer. I have tutored online for over 13 years and have conducted numerous professional development sessions for teachers in an online environment. I can do the same thing for your student.
