- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Truly, this is a field where the world is your classroom. By helping and interacting with more and more people, you are constantly gaining a deeper understanding of people in general.
- How did you get started doing this type of work?
I am an ordained minister (non-denominational) and after helping so many people that I've come into contact with over the years, I finally listened to what they were telling me over and over again and decided to make it a career.
- What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?
MEET THEM. In this line of work, there's no substitute for the personal connection. If you and your mentor don't "click", you won't be able to get as much out of your interactions.
