Lemme start this off with we looked all over to find a good company to help us move our stuff and Kim from Prestige Movers kept up with us and gave us a great and extremely fair deal! Blake and his boys showed up and immediately got to work! They moved much faster then I would've thought they would and they did it in a way that was still protective of my stuff. Some companies try to stretch time out to get more money, but not Prestige Movers. They were extremely attentive and very great workers. They took care of me and my wife and did an AMAZING job!! There should be ZERO negative reviews for these guys as they were well worth the money and are very highly recommended! 3 Hours for a 10x22 unit and a 30 minute drive. They were perfect!

I used Prestige by way of Helping Helpers. The staff and the movers were nothing but nice and professional. The problem came with they packed my items in the POD. I had two leather chairs with torn spots. Retail at $900 and I got $100 towards the damages from Hired Helpers. My relatively new sofa from At Home in Homewood was obviously put down with no protection. It has dirt and dark spots along with leaves all over it. It was not cheap either. They didnt bother to sweep out the POD. A night stand has a big nick in it. I am still trying to locate power cords to items. They were supposed to unload the POD for me but on that day I had to cancel because I have a disabling condition that just flared up and there was no way that I could have moved that day. The gave me back $200 out of my $250 deposit. Considering all the damage I could not believe that they took $50 from me. As it turned out I was glad that I had to cancel because of all the damage. Again very courteous and that is always good but need to be more careful with customers belongings.

We had a wonderful experience with Prestige Movers. Blake did everything we contracted with him to do. There were no hidden costs or glitches. The movers were friendly, prompt, fast, and professional. Amazing crew of professional and courteous movers! Local and small business so I loved doing business with them. They did an incredible job moving several heavy items, as well as prepared them. I overestimated the time it would take them to do the job, and there was more time for them to load even more than the items I had wanted them to load specifically! Highly recommend!!

    We have a two hour minimum.

  • How did you get started doing this type of work?

    I started working for a buddies moving company in Atlanta, Georgia 3 years ago. After doing that for s few years I decided to move back to Birmingham, Alabama to try to start my own there and have been doing it since August 2020.

  • What types of customers have you worked with?

    I’ve worked with all kinds of customers. People who don’t know barely anything about moving to people who tell me how they want their stuff packed! It’s always fun to work with different kinds of customers and get to help them take some stress off the moving process!
