I had a very small window of time to have a family picture made while our two oldest children were home. We found Leana through Thumbtack and as we planned the details of where and when, I found her very flexible. On the day of the shoot, the weather looked dismal. I tried to make plans for an indoor location, but Leana was determined to help create the casual, candid outdoor pictures that I wanted. We changed meeting times to take advantage of the most rain free part of the day. The hour we spent with her was fun. She took serious pictures as well happy and funny. We all enjoyed the day. The pictures came out beautifully despite the overcast sky. I would recommend her to anyone for family pictures and I would use her services again.

Leana is not only a fabulous photographer, she is a joy to be around! We had a very large group, adults, teens and children as young as 10, she has a wonderful ability to relate to all ages. She took all the poses that we wanted and then some! The pictures are better than I could have ever imagined!! We were all very impressed with her innovative techniques. I have already hired her again for another sitting after Chritmas. I recommend her to everyone!

FAQs

How did you get started doing this type of work?
I took a photojournalism class in college and my professor discovered I am very talented and pushed me towards working for the newspapers. I fell in love after the first assignment I had to shoot and the feeling of fulfillment after taking pictures never faded after that.
