Monique Euell

Introduction: Greetings! My name is Monique Euell. I am currently in my last semester at Oakwood University as an elementary education major. I am completing my student teaching this semester and awaiting my graduation in May. I absolutely love children. I have a strong passion for education, and I believe that every child is a gift and has gifts. I believe that all children can learn, and it is my duty to find a variety of approaches to further enhance a child's learning. I have worked with children in a number of venues, such as the YMCA, daycare facilities and church programs for children. Being that I am a student teaching in Huntsville City Schools, I am familiar with Star Testing, Pearson, Envision and the Common Core. As a tutor, I will take the skills a child needs improvement on and proceed to find how best I can help them make substantial progress. Every ounce of progress is to be celebrated. I am a believer in positive reinforcement. Every child has areas in which they glow and areas where they can grow. I am a hardworker, and I take extreme joy in watching children progress on their journey of learning. Education is a field of service to which I am wholeheartedly dedicated. Monique Euell
