Mr. Penn was punctual ( we had 1 occasion when he could not make it at the time promised re: an appointment, but he reached out and was transparent in what happened and we were able to push the time up without incident). He responded to every call/text and his workmanship on our backsplash is fine!
My husband is on graveyard shift this month and he was very respectful of that, planning the noisiest parts of the project around my husband’s sleep schedule. He works neatly, pays attention to detail and doesn’t leave a mess.
There were a few things around the house that just nagged me, i.e. the hydraulic pin on our storm door was coming out, my fridge could not be pushed back into it’s proper position... Mr. Penn took a few minutes to fix the pin in the door and to my surprise, I received a text today (a day after he completed the backsplash installation) he returned to alter the cabinet so that my refrigerator could be pushed back. And although we would have gladly paid, he did it as a courtesy. I call that second mile service!
We have already arranged for him to complete our next project.
We highly recommend him to anyone looking for upgrades/repairs at reasonable rates.

The best! Was punctual to my needed task. Mr. Penn is excellent for any needed issue around the home. Was able to fix a plumbing issue, and is transparent.

Mr. Penn was very professional and very personable. When he arrived he’d been on another job and took off his boots because he didn’t want to get my floors dirty. He explained the issues with a leak I had so that I could understand what he was doing. He stayed to make sure that the leak was fixed. It took him less than 30 minutes to fix it. I told him about a few other things that I needed done and he said he could fix them easily. I told him my porch light wasn’t working and he immediately went to work on it. He showed me that the wiring was messed up and that I needed a new light kit. He had another job scheduled right after mine and offered to pick up another light kit while he was out. He even let my daughter assist him! I HIGHLY recommend Mr. Penn for any repairs. We will be using him again on other projects around our home. If I could give him 10 stars I would!!
