FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Every engagement is a fixed fee, agreed in writing before any work begins, so there are no hourly bills or surprise invoices. The fee depends on your entity type, number of states, and how clean the books are, and I'll quote it after a free 30-minute call. Fees are never a percentage of a refund or credit.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
1) Free 30-minute call to understand your business, entity and goals. 2) A written proposal with a fixed fee. 3) You upload documents through a secure portal, with a checklist so nothing is missed. 4) I prepare and review the return, walk you through it before filing, and flag planning opportunities for next year. 5) For ongoing clients, we check in during the year so tax decisions get made before December 31, not after.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I'm a licensed CPA with a law degree (JD). My background is Big Four public accounting and large corporate tax, where I worked on complex partnership, corporate and multi-state tax matters. I now bring that same depth to owner-led businesses.
