Ashley recommended Brandy for our job of sitting with our dogs in our home. Our dogs loved Brandy and how she connected with them on the first visit. Brandy even played ball with them at midnight. Our dogs love her and so did we. I would definitely recommend Rockin' Paws.

It is such a relieve to have found a company that I can trust with my pets. I tend to work long hours and feel bad leaving my pets home by themselves all day. No one or pet should have to hold it for hours on end. Thankfully, At Your Bark and Call is able to fill in. They are True animal lovers and it really shows.

Lucy has been house sitting as well as taken care of our dogs for the past year. She is very clean and very thorough in her work. She is extremely honest and always does more than the job requires! I would highly recommend her to anyone needing house sitting or cleaning services.

I love animals and I have a heart for all kinds. I will go above and beyond for your pet needs. I have owned cats and dogs, but I am a fast learner and I know I can care for other pets.

My passion is for animals. I am very dependable! I love being around all animals. I have a lifetime experience with dogs, cats, horses and poultry. I've volunteered at multiple animal shelters during the summer. My goal is to meet your needs at an affordable price!

If you could send me a message with what services you would like to have done (along with the other details), I can promise you I will reach you and discuss any and all details with you. I've been doing odd jobs such as house sitting, yard work, house work moving assistance, pet jobs (watching, cleaning up after, and bathing ), etc. since 2008. I'm a very good instruction taker, and I will always make sure the jobs are done right before I leave or get paid. Prices all depend on the job and how much there is to do. I am a very reasonable person and will try not to overprice a job; it'll always be mutual agreed based on the cost of my services. If I don't get the job done by the said time it should have been completed, I do cut the agreement plan by a certain amount. You can email me any questions or job offerings you may have, and I will get back to you on your request as soon as I can.

We groom in a home-style environment. Dogs are not crated as we work one-on-one.

I am a full service all breed groomer with 20 years of experience. The best most talented groomer in the area hands down. With a proven success rate as my 450 and growing list of satisfied clients to back that claim up. To to the rest then come to the best.

I am an animal lover who would love to help you out in a pinch. E-mail me for arrangements! I would love to help.

The Dog Porch is dedicated to ensuring that your pets stay with us whether it's for a day, a week, a month or more. They will be filled with lots of love and individual attention. Your precious pup will be stimulated, pampered, and cared for by qualified professionals.

I put the customer's needs before my own needs and I am patient when completing task. If I did not finish a job right, I will finish it without pay.

Small and personable "business." I use that word lightly because its somthing I LOVE to do!

I'm very open to many different services beyond cleaning houses. I love both children and animals, so I'm available for dog/cat watching. I'm a great sociable person, so it makes it easier for me to mingle with new people. I'm 22 years old, and I have a two and a half-year-old son. I'm young but dedicated.

I love animals and feel they deserve care equal to that given to humans! I treat animals with respect and dignity. All animals love and trust me instinctively!

I offer animal walking and caring service. I care for your animals and will be able to produce a healthy and lively atmosphere for them and keep them healthy.

I do typical housecleaning, vacuuming, sweeping, mopping, and dusting. I also do dishes; trash removal; pet sitting, bathing, walking, feeding; and errand running. I can also do your grocery shopping.

Just asking people that no me about my pet's and seeing things that I been teaching them

We offer dog and cat grooming. We do professional and specific haircuts, styles, and design. We have medicated bathing on specific skin-issue pets. We provide boarding in a secure home and family setting.

I strive for excellence at my work and take pride in it. Also love animals and cleaning, which I have experience with both. I am a new mother and am looking for extra income for my family.

Q & A

Answers to commonly asked questions from the experts on Thumbtack.

How much does it cost to hire a house sitter?

House-sitting can be a lifesaver when you’re leaving town for any length of time. Whether you work remotely, you’re taking a much-needed vacation, or you just want to road-trip for a few days, it’s wise to have a pro keep an eye on your house and pets while you’re gone. Your home is more likely to stay safe and you won’t have to wrangle the kitty into a kennel to travel with you. The national average pet-sitting price ranges between $20 and $30. Pet-sitting and house-sitting costs will vary based on where you live in the country and regional labor rates. Another factor in cost is how long you want the house-sitter to stay. Some people prefer to have the house-sitter stay the night at their house, perhaps to care for an elderly pet or simply to keep a watchful eye on the home at all times. Overnight stays will cost more, ranging anywhere from $50 to $100, depending on services provided. For day visits, house-sitting and pet-sitting prices will increase incrementally the longer the visit and the more service you want performed. For example, a quick 10-minute visit to feed and walk the pet and bring in the mail could be $12.50, a 25-minute visit could be $18, a 40-minute visit $25, and a 50-minute visit $32. How much should you pay for a pet sitter?

Pet sitting provides your precious pet with in-home care. A pet-sitter can make a brief visit during the day to provide snacks, playtime or affection, or stay at your house for one or more nights to tend to your pet. Prices for pet-sitting will vary based on length of the visit. Nationally, pet sitting prices range from $20 to $30, although prices run higher for your sitter to stay the night. Prices will also be affected by where you live in the country. Here are some examples of average pet-sitting prices based on length of time and region:

  • 30-minute visit: $17 in a small Texas town.
  • 30-minute visit: $25 in Southern California.
    • 45-minute visit: $28.
    • 60-minute visit: $32.
  • Overnight stay (10 hours): $50 in Texas.
  • Overnight stay (10 hours): $85 in Southern California.
    • 12 hours: $100.
    • 24 hours: $200. This is a good option for a sick, elderly or brand-new pet that needs constant supervision.
