Introduction: If you are looking to have your dog trained by a customer oriented professional, you are at the right place. With over 15 years of dog training and handler experience, Gerald is the right choice when looking for a trainer who will understand your needs. He has titled dogs himself, and has helped others correct behavioral issues with their own dogs. We have different obedience training options available. Our Basic Obedience program is a three (3) week boarding training with in-home follow up sessions. Please contact us if boarding training does not work for you and your schedule, or to discuss other behavior modification options. Our goal is to help humans and dogs exist as an organized pack so that people can enjoy the true benefits of dog ownership.

We had our dog, Prince, for 7 years before we decided to send him to Gerald Williams for training. Prince was a good dog but had issues with jumping, pulling the leash while on a walk, and staying in whatever position (sit, lie down, etc.) you commanded. When Prince bit me because of irritation from a gastrointestinal illness, I decided to get rid of him. My husband spoke with Gerald and we decided to send him to Gerald for training. Within the first few hours, Gerald sent us pictures of Prince obeying commands and looking like a different dog! We were shocked! Gerald had completed his training with Prince within a matter of days and spent an evening going over his observations with us. His observations of handler and dog behavior were spot on. He brought some things to our attention that we obviously missed. He taught us how to give commands and how to ensure that Prince remains in that command as long as it is given. I have over 15 years of training and handler experience. I have trained and/or assisted in the training of over 100 dogs ranging from Certified Police K-9 to Therapy Dog to family pet.
What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?
Most people consider their dog to be part of the family. Don't take shortcuts when looking for the right trainer for your dog. Choose a trainer who will listen to your needs and discuss his/her training program with you before taking your money. Be sure you are both on the same page with expectations and goals for your dog training experience.
