We want to know what our customers are really needing before we start a job for them i.e... it might be in their best interest to just replace an item instead of repairing it. Everyone situation is a bit different. We care about the difference in your case, so ... call us. You'll see and feel the difference you can get with real service at Chroma TV Repair.

Had them come out to check 65 inch olive a TV first of all didn't want to remove rear panel to inspect TV told me all the screws are stripped and if I wanted to I could try taking him out myself and call him back later I proceeded to take out the screws which took me approximately about 5 minutes call them back to inspect TV came and took about 10 minutes checking TV and told me that I had multiples multiple bad items on one of the boards told me I was better just to replace the board I asked him to help me feel OK the board he said he would but never called me back I located a board online with one to replace that same problem luckily board was under warranty I was able to send back minus shipping charges I tried to call back croma numerous times and I mean numerous times like 20 times without a response charge me $75 to miss diagnose my TV I went off of the ratings but apparently water has them were color TVs has very low expectations had somebody work on my TV in Albuquerque New Mexico and it was wonderful wonderfulservice and they actually worked on TV probably did nothing to TV other than test 1 board I guess he had more important things to do like go eat lunch also going to have changed tried to pay in cash had to give him $100 and he had to go to Walmart to get me change who runs a business like this I would expect more from a company is rated so high in the reviews none the less I will never use them again or recommend them ever to anybody think twice about spending your money on this company they will charge you in the matter what and not try to help you afterwards looking parts only looking for simple fixes to make easy money simple fixes are not always the case but a good repair shop always tries her best this is not the case for this company

FAQs

  • What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?

We continue our education within our field. It's imposable to continue without it. TV repair has seen the most changes of any repair industry during the last decade. Some may argue "Computers" but actually, they have stayed the same for years. Faster yes, different, no. Just in the last 12 years we have seen Projection, Plasma, DLP projection and projectors. LCD projection, LCD flat panel and LED. ALL completely different. The GEEK SQUAD would be crying in their little VW Bugs if they had to keep up with the changes the TV Repair industry has.

  • What types of customers have you worked with?

Most common problem we see today are power supply troubles in Plasma, LCD and LED sets. We make every effort to repair sets at a component level, to keep costs at an affordable price. Replacing entire boards can get pricey and in many cases cost prohibitive.
