Rick K. says, "I was pleased with the job however the job consisted of repositioning hinges on the door so it would close properly. I also needed the casing installed. The repair person did not have the necessary tools to install the casing. In addition, I was originally quoted $300 to adjust the door hinges, final price was $400 for less than 1 hours work. That seems like a pretty high charge since there was no material needed for this job. I do not mind paying a fair price for work done, I don’t like being overcharged and if this is typical of Thumbtack subs I’m not sure I’ll call on them again."See more

Adam Barajas says, "We discovered a leak in our closet that was a result of a faulty tub drain and installing in the master bathroom that was on the other side. We called EWEST and they immediately got to work removing the water damage from the bathroom, closet and bedroom. They were fast and professional and very respectful of our property.Unfortunately, there was a large dispute between my insurance company and EWEST over what repairs were done. I believe EWEST knew exactly what they were doing but our insurance adjuster was fighting to pay as little as possible for the repairs. Management at EWEST assured me that they would handle things and make us whole even if the insurance company failed to come through for us; I was skeptical but what choice did I have but to trust them and see where this ended up?Sure enough the insurance company denied EWEST full payment only paying for about half of their total bill and telling us that they would not cover repairs to my bathroom, only the bedroom and closet that were damaged. I thought I was finished and that I would be stuck with a bill for the balance and worse than that, an unusable bathroom.Fast forward a few months (the fault of the insurance company dragging its feet and being unresponsive) and EWEST made good on their promise 100%. I still cannot believe how far these guys went to make sure we were not left in the lurch. Not only did EWEST not get fully paid for the work they did but they covered the cost of all the labor to help us remodel the shower and repair what the insurance company would not. They brought in expert help and, once the insurance company got out of the way, they got the job done FAST!Their manager Misael was in constant contact with us, leaving me his personal cell phone number. He was fast to respond to any questions and assured us the entire time he would take care of us. The final result is that our bathroom is more functional than ever and looks great. EWEST had every right to walk away from this project and financially, they probably should have as I am sure they took a loss on the whole fiasco, but they didn't.These are honorable people that can be trusted and will go to bat for you as the customer and make sure you are happy no matter what. I respect that and thank them for seeing our project through to the end. I hope I never need to call them again but its nice to know they are around if I need them. Five stars.Photos are of the work that needed to be done, the protective sheeting that kept our house and belongings clean during the process and the final bathroom result."See more
