- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
My standard rate is $100 per hour for face paint alone. If i bring one intern to twist balloons OR do glitter tattoos ( or if you want two painters or two twisters ) it is $165 per hour. Typically estimate 15 kids can get paint in an hour (or if two of us come, paint and balloons, or paint and tattoos) There have been a couple large events where the client needs 3 of us, either one painter and 2 balloon twisters, or painter, twister and tattoo artist. When 3 of us come, it is $230 per hour. We can also do all 3 services, with just two of us, just plan on a longer time frame. If you want games and /or hair braiding, we would finish the paint/balloons and then move on to something else, or for larger parties you can request additional intern(s)
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
We talk about what they are looking for, what age group, what kind of theme if any, including holidays. If it is an event or a party, I come to them. If they are dressing up to go to a costume party, they come to me.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I love art and have taught art in public schools for 8 years. I take classes all the time to improve and keep learning. My interns go to workshops. I have worked with kids at church for 14 years and absolutely love children.
