- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
I currently am accepting cash pay clients at $80 per session for individual counseling and $100 for Couples/Family Counseling. Session length runs between 45 and 50 minutes.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
The client will be giving several intake forms to fill out about prior history, past experiences, and what their goals from counseling are to help get a full picture of what needs to be addressed. I like to do a 10-15 minute phone call prior to scheduling to get to know a little more than words can describe on Thumbtack, sometimes it is very difficult for people to express everything into words.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
My educational background includes a MS in Professional Counseling from Grand Canyon University. I have a B.A. in Psychology with a Minor in Sociology from Arizona State University. Currently, I am advancing my studies and knowledge base in Play Therapy, Child Development, Dialectical Behavioral Therapy and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy.
