Excellent work. Mike is a super nice guy with an eye for detail and a commitment to complete customer satisfaction. He did a beautiful job with my exterior shutters and I plan to hire him again for interior trim work. I highly recommend him!

Mike was great from the start. We set a time for him to review the job. He came on site, took measurements and took it from there. He submitted bids to door vendors and presented me options with direct contacts. The doors arrived from Noble doors, who was also great to work with, on Friday afternoon. Mike and Steven were there early Saturday and pushed to get it all done. This was a big project, 19 doors, trim for those doors and 600 feet of baseboard. Mike is a perfectionist and takes pride in his work. He pointed out other issues we had and helped to correct them. I am very pleased with the results and can't wait for everything to be painted this weekend.

My wife and I were looking to have a fire place mantel built and installed in our new construction home. Because of time constraints, we weren’t able to give Jeremiah a big window to complete the job. Jeremiah built the most beautiful mantel, stained it, and installed it in a week for far less less than I could have imagined. Jeremiahs main concern, in the short period we worked with him, was our satisfaction. After reassuring him he exceeded our expectation 10 fold, he was at ease. I will 100% reach back out to him for any and all carpentry needs!!! WOW WOW WOW.

Details: Interior trim or decorative molding installation • Home • No existing plans, but have a good idea of what I want

Mike did a great job under cutting several of our closet doors that didn’t work after we had new carpet installed and fixing a few other doors that just weren’t operating very well along with installing some new hardware. He even came out the same day I posted the job and got everything taken care of right away. I would definitely recommend Mike.

Details: Interior door (e.g. bedroom door, closet door) • 6 or more doors • Sliding door (like an exterior patio door) • Wood • Yes, the new door replaces an existing door • No, I would like the pro's help in purchasing the door • Paint or stain the door • Install locks or hardware • Home

FAQs

  • What is your typical process for working with a new customer?

once a customer chooses to reach out to me after receiving my quote we set up a time to meet and go over the details of their project. I'll take some measurements and double check that against my quote. when an agreement is reached and a date set I will then collect a deposit generally used to purchase materials. once the project is complete I'll have the customer look over my work and once they are satisfied I'll clean up and collect the rest of my payment. shake hands and get back on my thumbtack app and do it again.

  • How did you get started doing this type of work?

Well it was the summer between my freshman and sophomore year of college. My best friend got me hired on with him. I was the low man on the totem pole and and completely green. this meant I wasnt given much responsibility and spent a lot of time cleaning up. I was a quick learner and really paid attention to what the guys were doing. I also asked alot of questions. by the end of that summer I had learned quite a bit and also earned 3 or 4 raises. I liked that. And so when school ended the next year I decided to make a career out of it and 20 years later im still at it.

  • What types of customers have you worked with?

over the past 2 decades I've had the opportunity to work with a wide range of customers. From first time home owners looking to add some flavor to their home. old timers that want there job done the way it used to with quality products and attention to detail. from track home builders that just want it done yesterday and custom home builders who want it done yesterday and want to pay you in 6 months, haha. I have always tried to do my very best job no matter who it's for. because my peace of mind can only come from giving 100%
