- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Most of my lifestyle sessions are all priced the same, this would include families (up to 6 people), engagement sessions and seniors. I do offer a complimentary engagement session when you book your wedding with me. My wedding packages vary depending on length of time needed, location and services desired; wedding packages begin at $2100.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
When discussing family or senior photos, I prefer to chat on the phone...email works too. I want to know what type of location they're thinking about and offer suggestions. I like to go over what will happen during and after our time together. I want everyone to show up feeling educated and excited for their photos! When discussing weddings, I like to meet for coffee. It's important to me to know my clients, they're expectations and what they envision for their day. I typically help with the wedding day time line, we talk about the shoot list and any other pertinent details. I want my clients to trust me and know that I will work my tail off to capture anything and everything...with a smile of course :)
- What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?
There are many great photographers out there! This gives you a great opportunity to find just what you're looking for. My best advice is, book with someone you get along with and feel like you could be friends with! If you're comfortable with your photographer, you will relax and enjoy your time; this equates to fun, genuine photos.
