Daniel is extremely talented, has incredibly positive energy and is extremely thorough. My wife and I hired him for a home we renovated and sold in Cave Creek, Arizona. We had him do custom shiplap for the top section of the fireplace and create a custom shiplap kitchen hood surround. We love that he gave us so many options, offered his expertise, and executed our vision exactly. He's meticulous, caring for every detail. He also installed the upper and lower cabinet molding throughout, installed kick plates and many other trim pieces. It's obvious that he has management experience and worked well with our other tradespeople when it was a full house. Daniel went above and beyond our expectations, and the passion and joy for what he does is apparent. We would absolutely hire him again and recommend him!

WOW! All I can say is I’m so thankful I was able to work with Daniel to complete this project for us. The work quality was outstanding but the customer service with excellent! World class! We hired him to install the baseboards in our townhouse. Originally we thought we may only be able to afford the first level of our home and we would complete the second story at a later date, but Daniel was so great to work with and offered an excellent price, we decided to have him complete it all. He communicated often, clearly, and kept his word. He made suggestions and offered different avenues as far as what and where we could purchase the base board material but ultimately we had him purchase and deliver. He even let us borrow some of his drop cloths and saw horses so we could paint the baseboards before hand. I would absolutely recommend DAS to anyone I know and we would hire him again for future projects in our home.

I'd mark Professionalism and Value if the app/site would let me. Dan was always in touch. He replaced what was a partial install that the prior owner tried to do. The picture is a section where the paint above the floorboards wasn't damaged. Which was fine since we're having painting done. Didn't want to imply his work damaged them. Nope, that was me. :-D

Daniel with DAS Designs is a true professional and craftsman. We had him install all new baseboards in our home after we had the flooring replaced and we could not be happier with his work. Once we have communicated on the scope of work, I offer a free in home visit to talk about all the specific details involved.
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Again, once a customer has reached out, I like to communicate via personal contact information, or in person. Thumb-tack is a great resource to get the ball rolling, but after the initial contact I find it easier and expeditious for the customers and myself to communicate without using Thumb-tack.
How did you get started doing this type of work?
My father was a carpenter and taught me this line of work I wouldn't be who I am if it wasn't for him.
