FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
There are a few different ways my pricing works, depending on what your needs are. Regardless of the project, I work hard to pass along any discounts I receive as a designer to you, the client. In addition to the below prices, I also have a varying flat fee dependent upon project size/the scope of work if you are interested in a more long-term design relationship. • Paint Consultation: $125.00 • Hourly Consultation: $85.00
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
My process is completely dependent upon my client’s needs. For example, clients who aren’t sure of their design needs or are new to the design process can give me a call or text to get a feel for me as a designer, and potentially get a more precise idea of what they want. For clients who have a large project in mind, I will come to you and give you a free quote based off of your vision for the room/home/etc. Most of my clients need only a few hours of in-person consultation to help them narrow down their choices or assist them in focusing the direction of their ideas.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I graduated first in my class from the American Institute of Interior Design. While attending I gained extensive knowledge on drafting and space planning, furniture history, color theory and textiles, modern architecture and contemporary furniture, fabrication, lighting and, of course, the fundamentals of design. Although I am experienced in all aspects of design, my expertise is in color theory.
