Introduction: My life has been a journey full of unexpected events and plot twists many of which were extremely painful and discouraging. When my marriage of 18 years suddenly ended I found myself feeling pain so deep, I never knew it could exist. When my career of 33 years was damaged and put on hold, again the pain came hard and fast. These and many other events have chiseled me into a counselor who not only sympathizes with other but who can empathize with others and their pain and confusion. My education is solid but the wisdom gained from many years of dating, marriage, raising children, career growth and loss have honed my ability to effectively guide people to the place where they genuinely "Breakthrough" to the next chapter in their lives.
